i finally have some things to say

Hwang Jin-i

i know, i know!

some of you might be thinking, “WTF! after not writing anything ‘amusing’ for so long you’re just gonna talk about ka-cheapan!!!”

i was never really fond of watching koreanovelas. i didn’t even understand why people get addicted to them. i remember giving sugar the “heller?!!?” look back in college when she said she had to be home by this time to catch this particular show. but since we only have a few channels at home now, i learned to appreciate these TV series  especially this one…

it’s pilot episode just aired last monday. it’s about a girl named Jin-I and her quest to find her long lost mother which led her to dream of becoming a geisha (kiseang in the series). it’s amusing, because the kid playing the role is doing a great job :D you can actually see the ‘passion’ in her eyes (may mga ganon talaga  )

and i like the plot (so far), especially the lines of the madam baekmu last night, which is somewhat like this;

HAHAHA!)

anyway, that’s why i like it… it’s about a girl’s passion to be an artist, and her goal of changing the ’system’ of being a geisha in old korea.

i just hope that it wouldn’t start to become a bore after tonight. the plot will be jumping to a few years after so she’ll be a teenager… and it would be more about the ‘falling in love’ eklat already. hay…

so there!

SECOND

remember the first PR event i was so freaked-out about last time? well it ended well.

i’m already done with the post event article. the boss even showed me how to pick the photos, and finalize the article and request for the burning of the CD’s and stuff after the article was approved.

ECF : very good hija! :D

i learned a lot! :) and yes, it was way different than when you’re from the ad agency or the events team, coz when you’re the one covering for PR you ‘enjoy’ the event by keeping; your eyes moving, senses feeling, feet on the move , and your pen and paper ready forever for ambush interviews and shit.

partyphiles and TV personalities were there and guess who star-strucked me the most…

i didn’t even look like me! BWAHAHAHA!

all throughout the night i kept myself from scratching my face (i hate make-up!) and rubbing my eyes (which i usually do when i’m not wearing my glasses). BUT just when everyone thought i could keep myself girly, i fixed my hair into a messy ponytail

‘nakakairita e,’ i said, and they couldn’t do anything about it.

here’s another shot of me trying to make a fool of myself…

imitating Tim Yap’s “oh yeah I have a cool watch pose”

so FINALLY

we’re having a loooooong weekend! woohoo!!!

i really don’t have a plan yet as to where to go and what to do, but here’s a hint of what i plan to accomplish…

hahaha! may YouTube pa rin pala…
